ABOUT US
Behind the Forget Farm stands the Forget family
who have cultivated the lands of Saint-François for more than nine generations in Laval. Passionate about our profession, we wanted to highlight market gardening so everyone could have access to the excellent local products.
« Naturally cultivated, as they did in the old days. »
Our kiosk opened its doors to the public in 2016. Since that time, offering local products made and grown in Québec has increased significantly.
In 2018, in addition to the U-Pick activities, we began to offer agrotourism activities to our visitors.
The following year, we set up a kitchen in the kiosk so we could transform part of our harvests into homemade products. Such as pies, fruit crumbles, canned food, just to name a few.
In February 2020, two new greenhouses were put into production. We advanced by a month our product offering. Starting with the tomato, pepper, eggplant and cucumber harvests.
Having to adapt to the Covid-19 crisis, our crop plan had to be changed. We had to double crop production in order to meet the pressing demand for local products.
